The IRA Civic Center is located just off State Highway 38, about a mile north of Highway 2 in the center of Grand Rapids.  A beautiful, two-sheet facility which, during camp, offers ice in one arena and dry floor space in the second.  This allows room for a number of activities and additional training.  Campers stay right here at the Civic Center.  Our large upper lobby transforms nicely into spacious sleeping quarters.  

Parents, enjoy the area!   Take advantage of the time while your son is at camp. The Grand Rapids area is home to more than 1000 great fishing and recreational lakes, and has been voted as a "Top 100 Town in the USA".  You could visit historic attractions or experience wildlife while hiking in the Chippewa National Forest.  Grand Rapids is also the home of Minnesota's Grand Slam of Golf, four distinctly challenging courses for less green than you would expect.  Discounted "play and stay" packages are available through participating area hotels.
